Help Protect Our Healthcare Workers & Caregivers
As COVID-19 spreads, healthcare and assisted living facilities are facing a dire shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE). Doctors, nurses, and other front-line healthcare workers need more masks, gowns, and eye protection as they save lives.
Get PPE’s mission is to connect the requests from those in need with the helpers who have the equipment, skills, and materials to offset that gap.
If you have unused protective equipment, please donate to a hospital. Many hospitals have a few weeks left before critical supplies run out.
Supplies needed: N95 respirators, surgical masks, handmade masks, goggles, face shields, gowns, hand sanitizers, and more.
If your health care facility is in need of PPE, please fill out the donation request form.
Got Sewing Skills?
The Million Mask Challenge is on! Sewists and crafters around the world are stepping up and donating their skills and materials to supporting caregivers. Join us today!
Volunteer for COVID-19 projects. Several facilities have reached out to the public to help make protective gear as a back-stop measure until supply chains can be restored. We are connecting volunteers to the opportunities we are finding.
We’re happy that San Mateo County Health Foundation received donations of face shields to keep everyone safe during this time.Read More
